Cats premiered at the new London Theatre in London's West End on May 11, 1981. In 1982, Cats successfully appeared on Broadway, becoming the longest-running musical in Broadway history. The China tour is presented by the West End resident production, which mantains its high standard as always. More than 250 sets of luxury costumes, more than 30 wigs showing different personalities of cats, and diverse dance rock the house.
